This plane is marked "Fulton Warranted on the blade. Comparing it to some other similar planes it raises a question as to who actually made it. There are several features that can be compared. First is the edge around the two ends. On Stanley's this is relatively short. This one is tall. The Sargent I have, has a short edge like the Stanley, and the rods that the lever cap is positioned against, are in slightly different positions. However, looking on e-bay at comparable planes I see other Fultons with both short and tall edges. Some have "Fulton Tool Co - Warranted" on the blades. Looking closely at my United Hardware and Tool Company catalog, they mention warranted but none of the images show that marking.

This plane has been cleaned, tuned up, and nickel plated.
